Albert Kahn designed 1001 Covington in 1926 specifically for families.  He designed the building to be sound and fire proof.  With a visit to 1001, you will see it's built like a fortress for a King with all concrete floors, wet plaster walls and features like maid quarters, butler pantries, service entrances, a grand marble staircase and a large passenger elevator.

Parking:  1001 features a gated and attached parking area for up to 2 cars per unit. 

Security:  1001 features a security camera system constantly recording the last 24 hours of surveillance.  This camera system can be viewed from within every suite from your regular television.  This enables residents to see guests at the door, or watch any of the cameras in the system, increasing the overall effectiveness of the security system. 

Tax Abatement:  1001 offers a 12 year Neighborhood Enterprise Zone Tax Abatement to any buyer, dramatically reducing property taxes for the next 12 years.
